A brand-new band named Laura Jane Grace & The Mississippi Medicals, led by Laura Jane Grace, has unveiled their first album. The band includes Matt Patton on bass and Mikey Erg on drums. Paris Campbell Grace, Laura Jane’s wife, also contributes by playing percussion and singing. The debut single “All Fucked Out” was produced by Matt Patton and takes inspiration from a challenge Laura set for herself based on the #1 hit “Butter” by BTS.
While attempting to write a song, Laura learned that “Butter” was the current #1 song worldwide. This inspired her to create “All Fucked Out” as a response to the smoothness in “Butter.” The song reflects a carefree attitude with its title meaning having no more cares to give. The band recorded the song last December at Dial Back Sound studio in Mississippi.
