High Vis, the energetic rock band from London, made waves two years ago with their impressive album Blending, earning recognition as a Band To Watch by Stereogum. Next month, they are set to release their new album Guided Tour. They have already teased fans with singles like “Mob DLA” and “Mind’s A Lie,” both of which have garnered positive responses. Today, they have unveiled their latest track, “Drop Me Out,” which continues to showcase their dynamic sound.
“Drop Me Out” stands out as the most direct offering from Guided Tour so far. It’s a powerful rock anthem that embodies the raw energy of street punk, akin to their contemporaries like the Chisel. However, even in their punk roots, High Vis introduces unique elements—such as rich, soaring guitar riffs and catchy melodies—that elevate the song to anthemic heights. Give it a listen below.
Guided Tour will be released on October 18 under Dais Records. Additionally, High Vis is set to embark on a North American tour with Show Me The Body, starting on September 24 at Royale in Boston. The band also recently collaborated with SMTB on their new single “Stomach.”
